Argo was bored. Utterly and unbelievably bored. He flew above a swamp, gazing down into it. It was like a large patch of green from above, and rather normal looking. So Argo decided to explore it. He swooped down, quickly realizing that even with his amazingly small form, his wings wouldn't fit within the boundaries that the swamp had set up for him.

He felt his claws sink into the mud and gave an 'uggh,' of disgust, flicking his ebony claws and hurling some of the sloppy brown mud with it. The feathers on his tail collapsed together, to hopefully keep them for the most part sheltered from the mud. "Apparently I chose the wrong place to land..." He muttered to himself, dragging his claws through the mud. His tail, however, was elevated above it. Around him were boggy trees rising out of the slop, and some occasional dry spots beside the trees. There were also a few sinkholes, that Argo carefully avoided. He only saw two in total, but even so.

It wasn't long before he sensed something that was very vaguely different from the scenery. He thought for sure he heard a voice, as faint as it was. He padded silently toward it, climing a tree and watching. When he thought the beast was safe to approach, he fell down and hung by his tail, claws still digging into the bark for more support. "Lost, huh?" He said with a toothy grin, that slipped away almost instantaneously. "Aren't we all..."

Argo watched his lost friend here quake in fear, his fur sticking up, tail bottlebrushed, and muscles tense. Too bad I don't get a reaction like this from other dragons. He thought to himself. Eventually he decided not to give the cat a heart attack and slithered down the tree, leaning against it. "No, I won't eat you." He said, almost in a bored fasion, glancing at his claws and examining them as though making sure they were sharp. "Cat meat is rather... disgusting." He spat on the ground to indicate this, watching as his saliva mingled with the mud. Ick. What I wouldn't give for some nice ripe berries...

It was such a girly and non dragon thought that he wouldn't have expressed it to anyone. He just liked the taste of berries. They were sweet, savory, and the taste lasted only long enough for you to enjoy it. He liked meat too, but preferred it to be roasted over a fire beforehand. Which was why being a dragon came in handy. His tail continued to hover a few inches above the ground, his black green scales glittering in the faint sunlight that filtered through the limbs. Of course, this sunlight was so few that he practically blended in with his surroundings, but came through enough that he was visible; especially to a cat, stalker of the night. Maybe coming here wasn't a wonderful idea after all. Looks like I can't just fly back up and out of here.

Argo watched, fairly amused. "Other form?" He scoffed, rolling his eyes. To bad Argo was a bit blunt. "Prove it." He challenged, sounding harsh though in reality just curious. If he did indeed have another form, then Argo figured he might be able to fight back. Of course, this was just Argo being a bit overconfident once more. He was always overconfident when he had the fortune of being larger than something; it was kind of tough being one of the smallest of your species.

But logically, this... cat probably would be more confident if he had another form that was big and tough enough to take me down, rather than shaking in his fur. But hey, maybe this is a trick. What do I know... Argo thought to himself, eyes glazed over in slight boredom. No, he wouldn't eat Zar; he had tried cat meat once before, and found it far to stringy. Plus he wasn't hungry enough to bother with killing the cat and eating him, when there were so many better foods in the world. Like berries... He thought in an almost nostalgic state, trying to remember the last time he had the succulent taste of blackberries or raspberries between his jaws.
