Welcome to Reiretrui! Allow me to answer a few questions. Despite the main layout boasting our green wyvern mascot, this is not a dragon roleplaying site. Now, before you click away disappointed, let me tell you that you CAN RP a dragon! This site is a medieval fantasy roleplaying forum, taking place in the land of Reiretrui on a distant planet. The characters you play can range from just an ordinary human, to a chimera, dragon, or maybe even something you just made up! The possibilities are almost limitless! Although there is a site plot, it is not always the main thing RPed. Any person can create sub-plots involving their own characters, that doesn't even have to contribute to the main plot at all. In fact, sub-plots will be more focused on. So, please head on over to the 'Rules, Guidelines, and Announcements' board to read the rules, and limits on the roleplaying. Create a character, and once it is accepted, you'll be ready to start your adventure! Have fun! -Nikara; (Site Leader) Myths The Dragon's Heart Location: Unknown Status: Hidden News: Only few even remember the legend of the Dragon's Heart, so there are not many seeking to find it. The stories were told less and less because the elders feared the children would spend their whole life seeking it for power when they were older; they would become obsessed. What they dreaded even more was the thought of someone discovering it. Darkfire Location: Twilit Mountains; specifics unknown Status: Hidden undisturbed deep inside one of the mountains News: His tale is hardly told, though heard more often than the Dragon's Heart legend. It is a mystery whether someone seeks him or not. So far no one has found him, and many are afraid of what will happen if they do. Anwen Location: Pegasus Valley Status: ??? News: This tale is one more commonly told. Some claim they've seen her appear before, but there is a high possibility they are telling lies. Koit Location: Torai Volcano Status: Hidden deep inside the volcano; every once in a while, he may be spotted stalking out in the open, usually near the summit. News: Legends of him are told about as much as Darkfire's. Parents warn their children to stay away from the volcano because of a fire-manipulating, giant tiger, but, in truth they only fear it erupting, and do not believe their own words.	The Legend The Dragon's Heart is a massive ruby that contains godly powers, the size of a human head. Long ago, it was said that it's original owner was a huge red dragon that reigned terror over the lands. Killing as he wished, his home was the fiery mountain known as Torai Volcano. Every night on the full moon, he demanded sacrifices and offerings. Each village was to bring one human, who carried whatever treasure they could gather up for him. If anyone dared to defy the monster, he would fly to their town and set it ablaze, murdering everyone in sight. The greedy dragon called himself a king, always keeping the jewel close to him, on a giant gold chain necklace. Though one town, resting near the center of Nharria, became fed up with the beast, and decided to do something about him. So as a sacrifice, they sent their strongest warrior to go and kill the dragon. He got close to the dragon, waited until the moment where it was just about to kill him, and leaped with his sword held high. Furious, the dragon attacked back, and killed him. So that night, he took off towards the village that had sent the man, and did as he promised: set them all on fire. Only one person escaped alive, and ran: a simple slave that worked for a small family. She fled into the woods and hid there, where the dragon could not find her. Forgetting about the full moon offerings, he swore to go after the women until he killed her himself. Fate bound them, and one day, they faced each other. The woman had become a thief, and trained herself to fight with a lightweight sword and dagger. She was ready for him, so they fought. Sword clashed against his diamond-hard claws and fangs. Drenched in sweat and blood from the heat of his flames, and wounds he inflicted, the lady fell to her knees. Laughing at her, the dragon approached, looming over her weary body. He opened his mouth to summon the flames from his belly, but she suddenly lunged, using up the last bit of energy she could muster. Almost all of her body was inside the dragon's mouth as she stabbed upwards with her blade. The beast was taken by surprise, and immediately clamped his jaws shut. It was too late for him, though. She had stuck the weapon into the back of the roof of his mouth, reaching so far up that it stabbed through his brain. The woman had lost an arm, though managed to get herself out. She saw the dragon decrease to half his original size as he died, a waterfall of blood flowing steadily out of his mouth. She bound her left, armless shoulder with her shirt, and ran for a whole day straight. She reached a village, collapsed and was taken in. She told them of the dragon's death, and the news spread like wildfire throughout the land. The next day she died, though her spirit lived on. Nobody knows where the battle took place, and it is said to have been so long ago that the body might even be buried deep beneath the earth. The ruby, containing the power of every element, was still clutched close to the dragon's chest with a clawed hand, as if he wanted to bring it with him to the next life. Some believe the legend is not true, and some search the entire land of Reiretrui for it. It's location unknown, the tale told less as the years went by. The Dragon's Heart has been forgotten. 	Rules, Guidelines, and Announcements Here posted are the rules for this site you must follow. If you do not think you can abide by them, then I kindly ask you to leave. There are also tips and important information you must know about the land of Reiretrui. Ignorance is no excuse if you break a rule--you absolutely must read them. Thank you. Important announcements are also posted here. Whether it has to do with an important event happening in the plot, or something about the site in general. Reiretrui
	Dark Pines [x][x] A forest filled with pines, and a few other varieties of trees here and there. The forest is thicker in some areas, with lots of undergrowth deeper in. There are only a few good paths which travelers and traders travel along. At day, it is sunny, and a great place to explore. Though, at night, it gets spookier, with strange creatures lurking about. 	Flooded Forest [x] This forest was once a beautiful, mystical place until the flood. Now, a glistening lake stretches for miles, with trees still growing up from down on the ground. Strange creatures have come here, that live in the water most of the time, and crawl on the trees. It is not a smart idea to swim here. Most just fly over if or go around this area. Some try to get across the forest, to the other side, as a challenge.	0	0
	Crystal Lake [x][x] A towering bout of water falls from a sheer cliff of one hundred feet, plummeting into a crystal basin at its foot. Cliffs fall into line along it, worn from the constant fall of water. The sunlight dances off the still parts of the water, reflecting onto the darkened cliffs. A green forest lay seemingly sleeping at the lake’s edge, though if you look, you can see life filling to the brim of the forest. The forest contains mainly pines, though various other types of trees can be seen as well. The water of the lake itself is calm and crisp, at a cool temperature that rarely gets above 75 degrees Fahrenheit, even in the hottest weather. 	Serpent Swamps [x] This swamps are murky and muddy, the air humid with thick fog. Waters both deep and shallow have many strange looking plants growing out from the bottom. The trees are dead looking, their branches hanging low. There is little sunlight here, though it always has a warm temperature. 	Twilit Mountain [x] A curse was laid on these lands so it is always basked in the twilight. Only fragments of the myth are remembered. A monstrous, selfish black dragon who ruled this range was hostile to the wrong people. Along with his land stuck between night and day, he cannot get out of his territory; whenever he tries, he is knocked back as if an invisible barrier were there. So, sealing himself inside a cave far in the largest of the mountains, he waits for the one in the prophecy he was told of, who will come. It is said that he must serve the first human who comes to him, that he will obey and follow out. He will be able to roam freely, though is bonded to whoever this person is. Though to find this dragon, and earn his respect, is harder than it sounds. 	Torai Volcano [x] A stretch of brown and red fields has a river running through it, and a craggy volcano in its center. The dormant volcano has many tunnels and caves, with searing temperatures. Deep within lies a beast in wait. A crimson tiger slightly larger than a horse is in the deepest area of the volcano, which is nearly impossible to reach. The creature has enormous power, and you must defeat it to gain his loyalty.	0	0
	Pegasus Valley [x] A beautiful valley is surrounded by snowy mountains, and is a hard place to find in Reiretrui. The fields stretch wide, and are filled with all sorts of gorgeous flowers. It is said that at the exact hour of midnight, a strange being appears. If you can catch it at the exact time, it will remain loyal to you forever. However, there is a condition: the beast only obeys those with the purest of hearts. This beast is unique; a white horse with two feathered wings, a horn, and a voice, her eyes a solid light blue. The only winged, talking unicorn in the entire land. Though her alliance is light, she is vicious in battle.	0	0
	Seaport-Glacier Coast-Iceberg Oceans [x] A busy trading town rests on Reiretrui's Glacier Coast, the Iceberg Ocean stretching out far beyond. The waters may seem warmed closer to the land, though it gets cold quickly. A vast area of the waters close to land is packed with ships near the docks. A stretch of land sticks far out, marking the border to one end of the town. 	Overcast Island [x] Far out in the seas of Reiretrui lies an island where the weather is almost always overcast. The ocean surrounding it is dangerous, with icebergs and frigid waves. If you fall from any boat you sail on, you are pretty much doomed. If you intend on flying, it is a day away, with only the bergs to rest on.	0	0
	Derustrian Desert [x] Once a field with luscious grasses, the land was destroyed, and covered in sand. A kingdom which once thrived is now in ruins. An enormous castle stick up above the sands, and it was apparently up on a hill, as the village is said to be buried completely.	0	0
	Nharria [x] This vast land in Reiretrui is beautiful, and full of many scattered villages. The trees and tall grass grow on the cliffs and hills of this area, and a waterfall cascades down the borders into a river that flows to a lake. 	Battle Grounds [x] These lands have no name, so are simply known as the battle grounds. Wars are commonly held in this field, with a few small streams for a source of water. In the winter, it often rains here. The grasses and ground have soaked up most of the blood, and a few skeletons of forgotten soldiers lay scattered.	0	0

C-Box Rules

((You MUST obey the C-Box rules, or it will result in temporary or permanent banning from the C-Box, depending on the form of abuse.))

1. Absolutely no swearing. If you are caught swearing, you get banned.
2. No asking for personal information like names, address', photos, etc. or you will be permanently banned.
3. Refrain from SPAMMING.
4. Bring up ANY past arguments and you WILL be warned ONLY ONCE. Bring it a again and you are banned from the c-box for a week.
5. Start an argument OR participate in one apart from trying to calm people down and you WILL be banned off the cbox for a week and your Reiretrui account disabled for one day.
6. No chatspeak. You can use things like lol or g2g, but nothing like "r u there? i got 2 go 2 a mall 2day."
7. No bashing, insulting, etc., or doing anything that could be the start of a new argument. No accusing people in public of stealing, or saying something bad unless you are 100% positive. Even if you are, message the admin instead of posting it on the C-Box.
